Yesterday, I joined Izzy Weatherall for her Entrepreneurial Edge radio show on Cotswolds Radio. It was a huge amount of fun and the time went very quickly. Cotswolds Radio is run from the Old Prison in Northleach. It's a fab place with a lovely cafe.
The other two guests were business women that I haven't met before and it was a genuine pleasure to meet them and hear about their fantastic businesses.
Izzy's questions focused on what prompted us to start our businesses and the missions behind them, our favourite moments, and top tips for other small business owners.
Nicky Souch is a business coach, supporting small business owners with their strategy and mindset. Nicky had some great advice and is obviously very passionate about what she does and invested in her clients. You could see what pleasure it gives her where clients have a breakthrough.
Dionne Popplestone has a virtual assistant business. Her business has grown quickly and she already has a small team - pretty impressive for a business that isn't even a year old yet! Her face really did light up when she was talking about her business. It was lovely to see.
Izzy, if you haven't come across her yet, is the person behind Support Small UK and the Glos Virtual Shopping Mall. She's dedicated to giving small businesses a chance to be seen. She has three guests on each of her weekly shows, talking along similar topics. These shows are brilliant for anyone who is running a small business. Great tips and advice, and also some reassurance that you are not alone with your the daily business challenges.
